A Jordanian foundation supporting talented females through university, with funding, mentorship and career guidance.
The Foundation
Getting the place is the hard part. Finishing is the part nobody funds.
Amneh Foundation for Education supports talented females in Jordan through the degrees they have already earned their way into, and on into the work they choose.
Each year we select a cohort of students who came up through Jordan’s public schools and proved themselves in their first university year. From that point we stay with them: covering tuition and the essential expenses of study, pairing each student with a mentor who is years further along, and preparing her for the job market long before graduation day.
Amneh is not only a scholarship. It is company for the rest of the road.
She earns the place on her own. She proves it on her own. Everything after that, she should not have to do on her own.
What the Scholarship Carries
Funding
Tuition and the essential expenses of studying, paid through to graduation, so that no semester is ever in question.
Mentorship
Someone ten years further along who picks up the phone, reads the draft, and tells her the truth.
Career guidance
Preparation for the work itself: a CV that survives the first thirty seconds, interviews rehearsed until they stop being frightening, and introductions to people who hire.
A scholarship that ends at graduation stops halfway. Amneh stays until she is standing.
Who Amneh Supports
Female students who graduated from public schools in Jordan
Students enrolled at a Jordanian public university on the competitive seats
Students who have completed their first university year with a high GPA
Students with the ambition to finish what they started
A new cohort is selected every year.
The Name
آمنة
Amneh means safety. In the foundation, safety is the first step in a sequence.
- Safety
- Support
- Education
- Opportunity
- Potential
- Future
Each step makes the next one possible. Safety is not the destination. It is what lets a student stop bracing and start building.
Amneh is the founder’s mother, and the foundation carries her name while she is here to see what it does.

Mission
Amneh provides university scholarships to talented females in Jordan, covering tuition and the essential expenses of study, and stays with each student through mentorship and career guidance until she graduates and begins her working life.
The rest of the way should not be hers to walk alone.
